What if I have health insurance?

As a DPC practice, we do not accept insurance. However, it is important to have health insurance or a cost sharing plan for emergencies. Your Direct Primary Care membership does not include “catastrophic” care such as surgery, hospitalizations, or specialist care.

Many people find a high-deductible plan or cost-sharing plan; combined with a monthly membership in Direct Primary Care, gives them the lowest healthcare cost.

Billing and Payments

  • Memberships are billed monthly

  • HSA cards are accepted

Enrollment Timing:

  • Join between the 1st and 15th: full month charged

  • Join between the 16th and end of month: 50 percent of the monthly fee charged

Your membership begins once payment is accepted by our office

Cancellation:

30 days written notice required. If you cancel before the 1st of the following month, you won’t be charged.

Labs and Prescriptions:

Membership allows access to our discounted labs.

Patients are responsible for lab fees, costs of which may vary, but are always discussed with the patient beforehand and paid at the time of service.
